SUGARED ALMONDS

A really ancient sweet, sugared almonds date back to Italy as early as the fifteenth century.  Through the centuries they have been traditionally used as a celebration gift for births, anniversaries and weddings (for weddings five almonds are given to represent fertility, health, wealth, happiness and longevity).

Our almonds are simply gorgeous.  The large, beautifully coloured, vanilla flavoured candy shell hides the whole crunchy almond in the middle....mmm...who needs to wait for a celebration...not us!
