ANISEED BALLS

This classic hard boiled sweet, was very popular in the 40's, 50's and 60's (my grandad always had a pocket full of aniseed balls wrapped in a white hanky!).  They are wonderfully long lasting, full flavoured and with the traditional black seed in the middle.
